Closeboard, hit-and-miss and contemporary slatted fencing. Hardwood and composite decking with pergolas, glass balustrades and integrated lighting.
Fencing & decking
Most fence failures come from one of two things: posts not deep enough, or posts not in concrete. We dig to 600mm minimum, set every post in a wet mix, brace, and check plumb before backfilling. Decking is the same story — proper joists at 400mm centres on a level frame, not nailed straight onto soil.

What we install
Traditional vertical board with arris rails. Privacy, longevity, low cost. Treated softwood or cedar.
Alternating boards on each side — full privacy with airflow. Looks identical from both sides. Premium spec.
Horizontal cedar or composite slats. Contemporary look, perfect screen for sleek modern gardens.
Yellow balau, ipe or cedar. Real timber that ages to silver-grey or stays warm with oiling.
Trex, Millboard or Cladco capped composite. Zero maintenance, won't splinter, 25-year guarantees.
Cedar pergolas, glass-panel balustrades, integrated LED lighting. Built in, not bolted on.

Decking that lasts
If you can see the frame after a deck's installed, something went wrong. Hidden fixings, mitred corners, breathable membrane underneath, proper drip edges — these are the things that separate a deck that lasts 15 years from one that needs replacing in 5.
FAQs
Composite if you want zero maintenance and a guaranteed lifespan. Hardwood if you love the look of real timber and don't mind an annual oil. Both are excellent if the frame underneath is right.
15–20 years for closeboard treated softwood, 25+ years for cedar, 30+ for hardwood. The posts are usually the failure point — concrete-set posts last decades.
Yes — bespoke cedar or oak pergolas designed to integrate with existing decking or patios. Often paired with composite shade slats or climbing planting.
Yes, if posts are sound. Often we can replace panels with new ones that look identical to the surviving ones rather than insist on a full rebuild.
