These terms apply to projects undertaken by Imperial Gardens & Driveways. They sit alongside, and are summarised within, the written quote and acceptance document you sign before work starts. The signed quote prevails where there is any conflict.
1. Quotes and prices
Quotes are valid for 60 days from the date issued. Prices are fixed once the quote is accepted, subject only to changes you ask us to make or unforeseen ground conditions that we discover during excavation and bring to your attention before continuing.
2. Deposits and payment
For projects over £2,000 we ask for a deposit of 25% on acceptance, with a staged payment schedule for larger jobs. Final payment is due within 7 days of completion. We accept bank transfer.
3. Site access and conditions
You agree to give us reasonable access to the site during working hours, to identify any underground services we should know about, and to inform us of any restrictions (parking permits, conservation area constraints, neighbour party walls) before we start.
4. Workmanship guarantee
We provide a 10-year written workmanship guarantee on resin driveways, block paving and patios installed by us, covering structural defects in the work we've carried out. The guarantee does not cover fair wear, damage from third parties, ground movement caused by tree roots or invasive subsidence, or aesthetic changes (fading, weathering) that are normal for natural materials.
5. Materials guarantees
Manufacturer guarantees on materials (resin, paving, decking, fencing) pass directly to you. We'll provide details and registration codes where applicable.
6. Variations
Any changes to the agreed scope of work are confirmed in writing and priced before being undertaken.
7. Cancellation
If you cancel after deposit but before materials are ordered, we'll refund the deposit less any costs already incurred. After materials are ordered, the materials cost is non-refundable.
8. Insurance
We carry public liability insurance of £5,000,000 and employer's liability of £10,000,000. Certificates are available on request.
9. Complaints
If something isn't right, please contact us directly first — Oliver@imperialgardens.info or 07932 011909. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 14.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
