Porcelain, Indian sandstone, limestone and granite patios for Bath gardens. Full mortar bed over a proper sub-base. No rocking, no staining, finished neatly to the lawn.
Patios that stay flat
If a paver rocks under your foot 18 months after install, it was spot-bedded — four blobs of mortar instead of a full bed. Cheap, fast, and a slow disaster. Every patio we lay sits on a full mortar bed over a 100–150mm compacted MOT sub-base. It doesn't cost much more. It just lasts.
We work in vitrified porcelain, Indian sandstone, Yorkstone, limestone and granite. Honest pros and cons of each, on a free site visit.
